clayn skincare is a handmade natural skincare brand based in kitchener-waterloo, ontario, canada.
we make small batch, herbalism-based skincare products sold through claynskincare.com

2. our products
handmade & natural all clayn products are handmade in small batches using natural ingredients. because of this, slight variations in colour, texture, and scent between batches are normal and expected. this is not a defect — it's the nature of handmade skincare.
ingredient allergy disclaimer you are responsible for checking the full ingredient list of every product before purchasing.
if you have known allergies or sensitivities, please review ingredients carefully and consult a healthcare professional if needed.
clayn is not responsible for reactions caused by ingredients you are known to be sensitive or allergic to.
patch test we strongly recommend performing a patch test before using any new skincare product — especially if you have sensitive, reactive, or eczema-prone skin.
to patch test: apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist or elbow. wait 24 hours. if irritation occurs, discontinue use.
results disclaimer natural skincare works differently for everyone. results depend on your skin type, consistency of use, lifestyle, and other factors outside our control.
we share ingredient benefits based on traditional use and available research — these are not medical claims and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any skin condition or disease.
if you have a diagnosed skin condition, please consult a dermatologist before use.
3. pricing & payment
all prices are listed in canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
we reserve the right to change prices at any time. the price you pay is the price shown at checkout — no retroactive price changes will be honoured.
payment is processed securely through shopify payments. clayn does not store your payment information.
4. orders & cancellations
regular orders once an order is placed and confirmed it cannot be cancelled — please review your cart carefully before checking out.
pre-orders pre-orders can be cancelled any time before your batch ships. once fulfilled, pre-orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.
to cancel a pre-order email us at hello@claynskincare.com with your order number.
we reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion — for example in cases of pricing errors, fraud, or stock issues. if we cancel your order you will receive a full refund.
5. shipping & delivery
please refer to our full shipping policy for rates, timelines, and pre-order shipping details.
clayn is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or circumstances outside our control.
for international orders (when available) — all customs duties, tariffs, and import fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
6. returns & refunds
all sales are final. we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened or used products.
if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photo or video documentation.

7. skincare & health disclaimer
clayn products are cosmetic products — they are not medicine and are not intended to replace medical treatment.
ingredient benefits referenced on our site and product pages are based on traditional herbalism, traditional chinese medicine, and available research. they are informational and educational — not medical advice.

our maximum liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
