the short version

every clayn order is packed by hand with care. we use shipstation to get your order to you safely and as quickly as we can.

shipping is charged on all orders — rates depend on where you are.

processing time

all orders are processed within 3–5 business days before shipping.

this is because every clayn product is handmade — we don't pull from a warehouse. we pack your order ourselves, check it, and make sure it leaves us in perfect condition.

orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.

pre-orders are different — see the pre-order section below.

where we ship

currently shipping to Canada only.

we're working on opening up to the united states and international customers very soon — stay tuned.

shipping rates

kitchener-waterloo + 10km radius flat rate · $6.99 CAD local delivery · typically 1–2 business days after processing

rest of canada rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. you'll see all available options and can choose the speed that works for you. carriers used: canada post + shipstation partners

pre-orders & skincare in a bar

pre-orders ship differently.

your order is placed on hold while your batch is handmade and cured — this takes 4–6 weeks from your order date.

once your batch is ready, your order moves to the front of the fulfillment queue and ships within 1–2 business days.

you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking the moment it's on its way.

shipping charges for pre-orders are the same as regular orders and are charged at the time of purchase.

tracking your order

once your order ships you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number via shipstation.

allow 24 hours for tracking to update after you receive the email.

if your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package: · check with neighbours · check all entry points · wait 24 hours — sometimes carriers mark as delivered early

if it's still missing after 24 hours contact us immediately.

· shipping rates will be calculated at checkout · all customs fees, duties, and import tariffs are the responsibility of the customer · clayn is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance · we are not responsible for packages refused at customs or abandoned at the border · tariff and duty amounts vary by country — check your local customs regulations before ordering

claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery with photo or video documentation.
